Strolling through the streets of Asilah (Arcila, soil) in the North coast of Morocco, I suddenly knew this was a special place. I felt a close relationship with nature, with myself and with the others.

In the heart of the medina of Asilah I found an old and ruinous house, at "M'Jimmaá" Street, (which means place of small encounters and meetings) and knew that the house would be a "corner of light": Dar Manara.

My intention was to create a space, a hotel with charm, a lodging to make people feel welcome, making possible the contact with ourselves, so that we can afterwards contact with the world.
